Marxism in Plural Times: Decolonizing Subsumption

چکیده

This essay reconsiders Marxist theory’s vexed concept of the subsumption labor, through two opposing views: Harry Harootunian’s notion using formal to critique teleological and unilinear concepts history Antonio Negri’s philosophy time political praxis, which stems from a scenario real coinciding with demise law value lack an outside capitalism. These views can be reimagined decolonizing perspective: rather than closed historical phase, mechanism should seen both as process becoming global site social struggle. The decolonization hence challenges any rigid separation between worlds emphasizes their combination in logics capital accumulation. Decolonizing is thus precondition for developing working-class solidarity fight against international division labor.
